This premium UK quality traditional antique reproduction hand forged front door centre knob from the Forge collection in a superior pewter patina finish is hand crafted from malleable iron with a zinc phosphate treatment for additional rust and corrosion resistance, and is the perfect choice for cottage style and period properties.

This reproduction antique centre door knob features a 68mm diameter octagonal knob (point to point) with a 64mm projection from the door face. The octagonal mounting rose is 74mm in diameter (point to point), the mounting plate features two integrated pins to prevent rotation for a more secure operation. The colour matched bolt through slot headed fixing will provide a neat finish to the inside of the door and can be recessed if required, the bolt is suitable for doors up to 54mm thick (may require cutting down for thinner doors or concealed fitting).

This pewter centre door knob is quick and easy to install, and supplied in single units complete with all fixtures and fittings.

PRO TIPS:
• For the best aesthetics counterbore the rear bolt fixing below the door surface and refill the hole.
  The anti rotation pins may require seating by drilling a pilot hole in order to get the mounting rose flush to the door face.
• When fitting to timber doors, make sure any bare wood exposed by cutting or machining is properly sealed with high quality solvent based paint or wood-stain to prevent any moisture ingress that may lead to further issues.
