4" CE7 Ball Bearing Hinge Satin Stainless Steel
This CE marked Grade 7 ball bearing hinge features a brushed stainless steel finish and is suitable for standard doors & fire doors with a combined mass of up to 40kg. This fire door hinge is suitable for both FD30 & FD60 fire doors.
This 102mm ball bearing hinge is CE marked and tested to BS EN 1935 and manufactured from 2.5mm thick stainless steel and measures 4"(102mm) long by 2.5/8"(67mm) wide when fully open and featuring a satin chrome finish.
This 4" ball bearing hinge is supplied in single units complete with matching satin screws. This satin stainless steel hinge is suitable for internal applications only, three hinges should be fitted to fire fated doors.
To extend the working life of this satin steel ball bearing hinge an occasional clean with a spray polish is recommended. We would also advise that once a year hinges are treated with a WD40 type oil, this will also increase the lifetime of the hinge. After initial installation subsequent oiling there may be slight oil seepage which should be cleaned off immediately with a dry cloth.
In order to fully comply with BS EN 1935 it is recommended that when this ball bearing hinge is fitted to a fire door it should be bedded on a 2mm intumescent pad.
