Light Oak Concealed Fixing Brush Strip 914mm

The Exitex concealed fixing brush strip in a light oak finish provides a neat, unobtrusive appearance and reduces draughts and the transmission of sound.

This hidden fixing draught excluding brush strip features 20mm long hard wearing resilient bristles mounted in a 22mm PVC carrier with a special snap fit cover, easy and quick to install with the minimum of fuss, and will immediately help to reduce your heating bill and provide a more comfortable environment.

Concealed fit brush strips are available in a range of colours including; pecan, light oak, mahogany, brown, and white. Bristles extend 15mm from the base of the carrier.

Concealed fix door brush strip installation instructions:

• Measure the width of the door in the closed position.
• Disassemble the three components of the brush strip, slide out the cover and the bristle holder.
• Cut the PVC carrier and PVC snap fit cover with a hacksaw, and file the end smooth. Cut the bristle holder with side cutting pliers (to ensure the bristles are retained in the holder.
• Slide the bristle holder into the PVC carrier, and give a slight bend to retain the bristle holder in the carrier.
• Screw the PVC carrier to the door, and allow sufficient slack to adjust, so the bristles firmly stroke the floor covering.
• Once you are satisfied the brush strip is in the correct position, tighten the screws and refit the cover.
