The Yale 82 is a dead bolt that is operated by a key from the outside and a turn handle from the inside. This dead lock does not feature a snib function or double locking, and no latching action means it will not automatically lock the door like a night latch, so avoids the possibility of being lock out.

This Yale 82 deadbolt will provide additional security to any solid door between 35-60mm thick, it features a dark metallic grey case and keep. The case measures 92mm long x 70mm wide, the keep is 26mm x 70mm, the backset is 60mm (distance from the face plate to the centre of the key hole. This dead lock is supplied complete with a satin chrome 5 pin 1109 cylinder, satin chrome cylinder bezel, 2 keys, fittings, screws, and instructions.
