These hinges provide additional security for outward opening doors where the removal of the hinge pins creates a vulnerable security risk that could allow the door to be removed from the frame.

These 4" door hinges feature interlocking 7mm lugs that lock the leaves together when the door is closed, even in the hinge pin or nickel was cut off or removed the two hinge leaves remain interlocked by the dog bolts.

The hinge is manufactured from 3mm thick steel, measures 100mm - 4" inches long by 73mm - 2.7/8" inches wide when fully open, the knuckle diameter is 11mm. The passivated brass finish resists corrosion and tarnish and compliments brass door furniture.

We supply these door hinges in single units as we recommend three hinges are fitted to your door, and will require suitable fixing screws.
