What is Formica Patterned Laminate?

Formica Pattern laminate sheets are manufactured using several layers of craft paper impregnated with melamine thermosetting resin and fused together under very high pressure to produce what we call High Pressure Laminate (HPL). These thin based laminates are normally intended to be bonded onto a substrate. Patterned HPL is generally supplied as horizontal grade postformable (HGP).
